SHORTER SWEEPS, BERRY SPLITS IN COLLEGE BASEBALL

Shorter University’s baseball Hawks hardily swept Reinhardt University in a double header yesterday at Shorter’s Robert H. Ledbetter Baseball Complex, 9-2 and 13-0.  The Hawks will return to action this weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana with a three game series against Southern States Athletic Conference rival Loyola University.

Berry College’s Vikings baseball team split a double header with Bates College yesterday at Berry’s William R. Bowdoin Field.  Berry won the first game 8-0, while Bates took the night cap 5-4.  Berry will play the third and final game of their series with Bates today at 2 pm.
