SHORTER SOFTBALL SWEEPS BREWTON PARKER, SURPASSES 30 WINS

Shorter University’s softball team swept Brewton Parker in a double header yesterday at the Alto Park softball complex, allowing the 9^th ranked Lady Hawks to surpass 30 wins so far for the 2012 season.  They won the first game 3-2 in eight innings before taking the night cap 9-1.  The Lady Hawks will be on the road this weekend.  They’ll head to Thomasville to take on Thomas University in a non-league double header on Friday at 3 pm.  That will be followed by a double header at Brewton Parker on Saturday at 1 pm.
