ROME BRAVES ANNOUNCE LINE UP OF GUESTS FOR 2014 HOT STOVE GATHERING

The Rome Braves have announced the line up of guests slated to appear at their 2014 Hot Stove Gathering.  The event is set for Monday, January 27th from 5:30 pm until 7 pm at The Forum in downtown Rome.  The Rome Braves field staff will be on hand, including new manager (and former Rome Braves player) Jonathan Schuerholz, pitching coach Gabe Luckert, hitting coach Bobby Moore and trainer Kyle Damschroder.  Former Atlanta and Rome pitcher Chuck James will also be in attendance, along with former Rome Braves Wes Timmons, Jon Mark Owings, Shae Simmons and Robert Hefflinger.  The list of guests also features Atlanta Braves Director of Minor League Operations Ronnie Richardson, minor league training staff coordinator Mike Graus, Atlanta Braves scout Brian Bridges, former Atlanta Braves third base coach and current manager of the Gwinnett Braves Brian Snitker and Rome Braves General Manager Mike Dunn.

The Hot Stove Gathering will be highlighted by a question and answer session and the opportunity to get autographs from those in attendance.  Fans will be treated to “all you can eat” ballpark food.

Adult general admission tickets are $15 each.  Tickets for children 12 and under are $10 each.  Special advanced VIP tickets are available for $40, which include a meet and greet along with heavy hors d’oeuvres and beer and wine.  The VIP tickets are limited to the first 50 fans.  Tickets can be purchased in advance at State Mutual Stadium or at the door on the night of the event.

The Rome Braves’ 2014 Hot Stove Gathering will benefit the Miracle Field of Rome.

Baseball season is right around the corner!  The Atlanta Braves are slated to play an exhibition game at State Mutual Stadium on March 29th versus the Braves Future Stars.  The Rome Braves will open the season on April 3rd in Hagerstown, Maryland against the Suns.  The local ballclub’s home opener is set for April 10th against the Savannah Sand Gnats.
