GET YOUR POMPOMS OUT – HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL MOVES INTO WEEK TWO TONIGHT

Get your pompoms and noise makers out!  Friday night lights will shine tonight as area high school football teams take the field for week two of the 2013 season.  In the Northwest Georgia High School Football Game of the Week on 95.7 FM The Ridge, the Coosa Eagles will host the Rockmart Yellow Jackets.  WLAQ/95.7 FM The Ridge sports’ Matt Davis and V3 magazine’s Ian Griffin will call the action of the game, which will also air online at www.theridge957.com.  They’ll go on air with the pre-game at 7:15 pm; kick off is slated for 7:30 pm.  Stay tuned after the game for the High School Football Scoreboard Show, brought to you by Rome Orthopaedic Center.

Get ready for the weekend in football with This Week in Northwest Georgia Football on WLAQ AM 1410 this afternoon.  Our panelists make their picks of the week on the program, brought to you by River City Bank.  It will air at 4:40 pm, just before this evening’s Atlanta Braves broadcast.  The show will also air on www.wlaq1410.com.
