HOT, HOT, HOT!!!

The heat is on for much of the country, and it certainly is here in Northwest Georgia.  Highs today are expected to be near 100 degrees and skies will be sunny, according to the National Weather Service.  Highs will remain at or around 100 for the next few days.  

A few words to the wise where the heat is concerned – be sure to drink plenty of cold water, limiting outdoor activities and staying indoors in the air conditioning as much as possible.

Looking for a good way to cool off?  Consider a trip to the Northside Swim Center or the fountain at the Town Green next to the Forum.
