GREATER ROME CHAMBER INTRODUCES ‘CONFLUENCE’

Written by Elizabeth Davis. Posted in News & Weather

The Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce has announced that Confluence, an innovation conference, is coming to the Historic DeSoto Theatre in downtown Rome on February 21-22, 2013.

Formerly dubbed “SpecTechRome” (short for “Spectrum of Technology Symposium”), the event was recently renamed Confluence to reflect the growing vision for it, according to Tricia Steele Seifert, Confluence Chair and SAI Digital CEO.

The opening keynote speaker for Confluence will be Chris Anderson, editor in chief for Wired magazine since 2001 and New York Times best selling author.  Seifert says this is a big deal for Rome and Floyd County.

Seifert says that tickets for Confluence will soon be available for purchase online at www.romeconfluence.com.  You can get more information about the event at that site, as well.
