NEW FLOYD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO TAKE OATH OF OFFICE ON WEDNESDAY

Floyd County Commissioners elect Larry Maxey and Rhonda Wallace will take their official Oath of Office this Wednesday, August 8^th at 9 am in the Community Room on the second floor of the Floyd County Administration Building on East 4^th Avenue in downtown Rome.  Probate Court Judge Steve R. Burkhalter will administer the Oath, according to a release from the Board of Commissioners.

Wallace and Maxey were chosen in the July 31^st primary election to fill the unexpired terms of Chad Whitefield and Eddie Lumsden.
