DEATH OF TWO-YEAR-OLD UNDER INVESTIGATION

Police continue their investigation into the death of a two-year-old girl earlier this week at a home at the intersection of Reeceburg Road and Booze Mountain Road.  Kailee Marie Parker was pronounced dead around 2:30 pm on Monday afternoon at Floyd Medical Center’s ER.  Family members believed she was having a seizure and sought the help of a neighbor, who attempted unsuccessfully to perform CPR on the girl.  An autopsy has been performed by Georgia Bureau of Investigation for which results are expected to be released today.
