CROSS-TOWN RIVALRY BETWEEN BERRY COLLEGE AND SHORTER UNIVERSITY TO BE REVIVED TONIGHT IN COLLEGE HOOPS

The cross-town rivalry between Berry College and Shorter University will be revived tonight at Berry as the women’s and men’s basketball teams meet for the second time this season in non-conference play.  Berry’s Lady Vikings will take on Shorter’s number 22 Lady Hawks at 6 pm.  The Vikings will face the number one Hawks at 8 pm.  The games will be broadcast on both 95.7 FM The Ridge and WLAQ AM 1410 and on our websites, www.theridge957.com and www.wlaq1410.com.

The last time Shorter and Berry faced each other in college hoops was on January 23^rd.  The Lady Hawks beat the Lady Vikings 102-64, and the Hawks beat the Vikings 88-44.
