FORMER CONGRESSMAN BARR STILL INVOLVED IN POLITICS

Former Georgia Congressman Bob Barr may no longer be in office, but he is still involved in the world of politics.  In fact, Barr was in town over the weekend for a campaign breakfast for Chuck Hufstetler, who is running for State Senate District 52. 

In an interview with WLAQ News, Barr says there are many issues of a political nature on which he’s been working these days.  He says he’s been working with a number of state and local candidates.  He is also concerned about the national debt and is hoping for a new President come this fall.

Barr represented Georgia in the US House of Representatives from 1995 to 2003.  He now practices law in Atlanta.  He also teaches constitutional law at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.  He’s also been doing some writing in recent days.
