SHORTER UNIVERSITY BASKETBALL UPDATE
In college basketball, Shorter University’s 5th ranked Hawks picked up a couple of wins at the Bryan College Classic over the weekend in Dayton, Tennessee. They beat Tennessee Temple 86-77 on Friday night, which was followed by a 80-53 victory over host Bryan on Saturday night. Shorter’s 18th ranked Lady Hawks beat College of Coastal Georgia 65-50 in Brunswick on Saturday night. The Lady Hawks will play their final game before the Christmas holidays tonight in Carrollton against West Georgia at 8 pm.
