Shorter University’s men’s basketball team picked up a 100-66 win over Reinhardt last night at Shorter’s Winthrop King Centre, improving the Hawks to 3-1 so far for the young 2012-2013 season. Brandon Pullman scored a game high 25 points to aid in Shorter’s victory.
Shorter University’s men’s basketball team was also on the road on Saturday and took a 98-87 victory from Young Harris. The Hawks will host Reinhardt tonight in a game that will be broadcast on 95.7 FM The Ridge and www.theridge957.com. Tip off is set for 7 pm at Shorter’s Winthrop King Center.
The Shorter University women’s basketball team opened their 2012-2013 regular season with a loss to Columbus State University 74-70 in Columbus last night. The Lady Hawks overcame a 21-point half time deficit, but fell short of catching up to the Lady Cougars. The Lady Hawks are off until November 26th when they play their first home game of the season against Clark Atlanta.
The Shorter University men’s basketball team will open their 2012-2013 season tonight against Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Florida. Tip off is slated for 7:30 pm. This will be the Hawks’ first year of play in the NCAA Division II.
