College basketball will return to the airwaves of WLAQ AM 1410 and 95.7 FM The Ridge this weekend.

In your local college basketball update, Georgia Highlands College’s 6^th ranked Lady Chargers improved to 13-0 for the 2012-2013 season with a 68-40 win over East Georgia College in Swainsboro last night.  That was followed by a loss for the Chargers to East Georgia 92-57.  Both teams are off until after Christmas.  The Lady Chargers will return to action in the SGT Classic in Americus on December 29^th and 30^th.  The Chargers’ next game is not until January 3^rd, when they travel to Gainesville, Florida to take on Santa Fe College.
