The 2012 Rome News-Tribune Holiday Festival Basketball Tournament is officially underway! The tournament, which is being sponsored this year by the Seven Hills Rotary Club, will continue thru Friday. Games are being played at Berry College’s Cage Center and Georgia Highlands College’s Floyd County campus.
Berry College’s men’s basketball team picked up an exciting 75-74 overtime victory over Piedmont last night at Berry’s Cage Center. The win snaps a six game losing skid for the Vikings and improves their record to 2-6. The Vikes will return to action on December 28th in Virginia at Emory and Henry.
