The Pepperell High School baseball team lost to Westminster 1-0 yesterday in game one of the Class AA semifinals at Pepperell.  The teams were slated to play a double header yesterday, but plans changed due to wet conditions on the field because of Sunday’s storms.  Consequentially, a double header will be played today if necessary.  Game two in the series is set for today at 1 pm.  If Pepperell wins, game three will immediately follow.

Darlington School has confirmed that the Berry College Vikings football team will play three games at Darlington’s Chris Hunter Stadium this fall.  The dates of those games are September 15, October 12 and October 26.
Darlington Athletic Director Bob Stinchcomb states, “It will be great exposure for Darlington and for Berry.  It’s a wonderful opportunity for Berry to show off its athletic program and for us to welcome people to our beautiful campus.  This is just the nature of our community.  Darlington and Berry are a great match and we enjoy working with them.”
