THE RAIN WILL END…EVENTUALLY
Rain, rain, rain…the rain continues to fall in Rome and Northwest Georgia. The National Weather Service reported nearly four inches of rain (3.84 inches, to be exact) from late Sunday night thru early this morning at the Richard B. Russell Regional Airport. The flood watch issued by the NWS earlier this week has been extended thru tomorrow evening. There is also a flood warning for some areas in Northwest Georgia, including the Armuchee Creek in Armuchee, affecting Floyd County. Rain remains in the forecast thru tomorrow and is expected to give way to sun as we get ready to head into the weekend.
