APPLICATIONS SOUGHT FOR LITTLE MISS BREANNA SIDS AWARENESS PAGEANT
Applications are being accepted for the Little Miss Breanna SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) Awareness Pageant. The event is set for Saturday, August 11th at 4 pm at Belle Terra in Cave Spring. The application deadline is August 1st. Age groups are 0-15.
Any and all proceeds from the pageant will benefit the American SIDS Institute, whose mission is to ultimately fund research and find a cure to save babies. It is being held in honor of Breanna Bishop, the daughter of local residents Julia Pope and Chuck Bishop. The youngster died of SIDS on December 1, 2011, just nine days after her November 22, 2011 birth.
